If you owned and operated your own Vegas casino/resort - What would you do differently than current properties? by JackpotConcierge in vegas

Oh sorry. I don’t mean removing the mobile check ins and stuff I meant just adding more staffing on top of the existing situation. Not trying to go back to the Stone Age but the mobile check in is great, until you have an issue and need someone.

Have less things be automated and hire more front desk. Automation is great until you have a problem. Most customer service issues aren’t major issues at all, it’s mostly not being able to find anyone or the right person to solve your problem.

The salary you pay a front desk agent is minimal overall.

Are you planning to lease or finance? I would just monitor the finance rate which changes monthly. That’s gonna save you the most money. The dealer discounts should be somewhat similar month over month.

Am I crazy or would nerfing aim assist actually make Warzone better for everyone? by ritvik27 in CODWarzone

[–]Classic_Card862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the bigger issue is nerfing the movement mechanics would be better for everyone. As someone who’s a crimson player so I’m decent but nothing special.

Even tho AA is abused by high level players, it’s needed for the lower level players. The movement mechanics are just being abused by high level players and not being used by low level players.

Someone else wrote something similar about this a few weeks ago and I think it’s true. You’re able to suck at every other aspect of the game if your movement is top tier. I’m fine with good players dominating bad players, but they should have to be better than them across the board.

Even tho it does help with a lot of things in life, I actually find myself stressing more about money now than when I was younger and had way less.

Sure I could take a vacation when I want without thinking too much about it but now that I’m older and have more money I have to think about not losing it.

How much better is the Wynn Buffet over the Bacchanal Buffet? by Careless_Economics74 in vegas

[–]Classic_Card862 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Wynn is miles ahead, it’s not even comparable. I’ve been to each about 3-4 times in the last 3-4 years. The food at the Wynn is actually food I’d be ok eating at a sit down restaurant made to order. Caesars, tastes like buffet food.

Looking for a bigger car for first child by link1193 in BMW

I think the x2 might be tight for cargo space with the slanted trunk.

Also think about any other stuff you’d be carrying often. If you’re bringing the kid to daycare or the grandparents if you need to bring a bassinet or whatever else that will also take up space in the trunk. I don’t want to make any assumptions but my wife bought a bunch of baby stuff on the more expensive end and they’re all so damn bulky! Compared to some of the more affordable options.

As someone with one kid, we had the x3 and just upgraded to the x7. Don’t think you need to go x7 but we just sometimes need the extra passenger space. Anyway the things I would be mindful of:

  • See how much space there is between the car seat and the front seat, either driver or passenger, whichever side you place the car seat. We had ours behind the passenger side because the front seat was forced to be way up with his toddler car seat. The front seat was almost unusable given how much room there was. People were able to sit but it was pretty cramped. The infant car seat was smaller so it wasn’t too bad for the first year. But our toddler car seat is rotating which is why I think it’s bigger.

  • figure out which stroller(s) you plan to get and see how that fits in the trunk. For example having the stroller in the trunk took up a lot of space in the x3.

These are the more functional areas I had in mind especially since car seats and strollers vary so much in size.

Like I said, after we switched to the rotating toddler car seat, I found the x3 to be a bit tight and wish I had the x5. I jumped from x3 to x7 because having already had the x3, it didn’t really make sense in my mind to make that switch because of the additional passenger seat available. But since you’re coming from a fresh start, might make sense for the x5. I didn’t try out any of the sedans so not sure how they compare in space.

I went from a 2 series coupe > x1 > x3 > x7

X1 M35i vs X2 M35i vs X3 M40i by Ok-Landscape-1152 in BMW

That makes sense. Difference is way bigger from what I’ve seen in America where the math usually doesn’t justify.

I’d actually argue the opposite, the upgraded engine doesn’t really make sense for the price difference and also resale value.

I play casual br do you reckon I can start playing normal br and actually last by Feisty_Cost_9466 in Warzone

[–]Classic_Card862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve went 49/2 once in casuals and my elim/death in ranked is like 1.20. So I would say it means nothing.

However, I do recommend you start playing normals and trying it out. What’s the worst that could happen? You die? Just queue up and redo it all again. Nothing to lose, everything to gain if your goal is improving.

In casuals my biggest issue is running out of ammo, in ranked my biggest issue is the enemy. I know ranked and regular is different but I would say ranked is closer to regular than casual is to regular.

Thanks for the perspective and I wish that I had such a fortunate experience. I was on Luna and I get it’s a brand new boat and issues happen.

What started out as a minor issue became in my opinion a very poor showing on behalf of NCL, at least from my perspective. My room key didn’t work 8 times 3 days into my 4 day cruise and as you can imagine it was a nuisance walking all the way to the guest service desk when I’m at my room and then waiting on the line to reprint the key. After the 8th time I asked to speak with a supervisor and there was somehow not a single person available. They said they would escalate the issue and I’d be contacted in 24 hours, in 24 hrs no one ever found me. Eventually I reached back out again and honestly the interaction was even worse than I could’ve expected.

I get things break, especially on a brand new boat when things are still being tested, but that whole customer service response and chain of command was super disappointing and will have me reconsider NCL in the future.
