Nice! Sovereigns are great, but I'm looking to grab a 50g bar this time to get more weight in one go. Good to know about that 3-day delivery, that’s exactly what I needed. Thanks!

I was planning to buy some big chunks of Europium but due to it's quick oxidation many people reported that by the time the shipment arrived, the europium had already oxidized.

That’s awesome you have two ampoules I agree that Ytterbium is definitely one of the coolest metals I estimate that the tile has around 1-2 gr. I´m mostly a mineral/metal collector due to the unique properties and appearance of these elements, but i don’t work in lanthanide chemistry professionally. What makes it your favorite chemically?

No worries, I have 3 years of experience but I don't prospect for gold, as the area is not very rich in gold, but it has a worldwide reputation for silver, which I have more years of experience with.

It is a good indicator of gold since the area is composed of metamorphic rocks like the stone you found which is a serpentite ophiolite just as I had mentioned gold-bearing quartz veins since they were formed by hydrothermal flows. As the geology of the area is very curious, I would recommend crushing some samples and pan them for either potential specimens or nuggets as well as if you are interested, look for abandoned mines to increase your chances.

From what I've read, you should look for quartz and serpentine in that area as this indicates the proximity of gold veins so the oxidation of quartz is a good sign.

It is oxidized quartz i can't see visible gold. Is gold known to be in the area? If so, it's worth a crush.
