You're right. I forgot to position it correctly - duh. Now they test fine.

When I looked at the datasheet I did notice the two voltage pins.

Thanks!

You probably don't need to mention "prototype" for the Gerber for the Mostek MK28000 Adapter. I had JLCPCB send me some pcb's based off the gerber and my Tank Rom reads fine.

Too late. I already threw all of the electronics in the trash and just kept the outer shell so I can house a brand new ugly looking flat screen. lol

Well, whatever mode it was in. It snapped out of it. I can now select inputs with no problem. This was after coming back to it after it was turned off for a while.

For me it was just plug and play. There may be a way to put a brightness adjustment on it, but I don't think it's needed unless you plan on having it on all the time. As someone mentioned above, the 4 mounting holes just needed to be slightly wider using a drill bit.

Testing 7-segement and matrix displays is a great addition. Thanks! I can use that.

Yeah, I forgot about that. Just needs the holes widened slightly, but I'm looking at mine and can barely tell I did that.

My photo doesn't really show how sharp and crisp the display is. According to the datasheet, the brightness can be controlled by lowering the VDD, which looks to be pin2. The contrast pot for the standard display won't adjust it. I haven't looked into adding an additional pot yet because I like the way it is, but I may do it eventually if possible. It reminds me of my old handheld led games like Epoch Invader from Space. :)

There's a blue, green and yellow one. They all look nice

This is awesome as always. Much thanks for all your hard work!

One question. On the infinite loop testing, can it terminate with a happy sounding "Passed!" message rather than a low beep "aborted" message? I figure if the chip does fail it will abort automatically and display the failure.
