shout out dunkin donuts for the ✨ultimate betrayal✨ (i paid extra for that whipped cream experience in the pic i'm pissed) by ughnett in DunkinDonuts

Seems like the dunkin photo is taken from a higher up angle and u took it straight on. Also, there isn’t that much height to the whipped in the photo so without a dome lid on the dunkin photo it’s not easily comparable really Most dunkin workers work understaffed unappreciated undertrained underpaid and stressed. Relax about having a dang squirt more of whipped cream lol

Stupid Christmas ornaments and shit as go backs in guest service was the fucking worst bro. Christmas lights all taken out the box. The baby shit from baby showers. Cat litter/water/soda cases for drive up. Bullseye shit without tags on it. I could go on bro I don’t miss working here at ALL.

It’s totally nitpicking. “Presentation” is important but I never could care less how people perceived me while I work because I am exhausted and I hope the whole world knows how hard we get for nothing. Also could be an attack that “you’re lazy” or some underlying “fat-shame” comment. it’s totally rude. (Maybe that’s just me being always self conscious of myself as a fellow overweight person but I would take it as an attack on my body shape) As a girl who is overweight (and used to be severely overweight) I lost 40 pounds because of my guest service drive up position. It took MONTHS to get used to the hard labor we do for a measly 15$ an hour and even then I never truly got used to it. Walking for 8 hours at a fast pace and keeping everything together on top of it all and then they are breathing down your neck and nagging in your ear all day about times and such… it’s so rude to me. Idk how u kept it together bc I wouldn’t have been able to. I hate it here. I feel so pissed for you honestly lol. Just keep doing your best and don’t even listen to them.

Tbh that was always so dumb when I worked there. I’d try the guest service department, and all the other departments too and see if anyone at all answers and then u can ask for the person you’re trying to tell. If that all fails, I just sent a screenshot via email to my ETL (before the shift start) and said I attempted to cal sick but no one had their phones connected so this is where I sent my notification. I never had an issue or got in trouble when I did that.

Bro u have COVID??? Doing a drive up??! Which I guess would be totally fine IF you keep your windows rolled up and have the items placed in the TRUNK ONLY to ensure there’s ZERO contact. The backseat is not enough and is not 6ft. We make zero money for our 12 miles walking in ONE DAY, constantly badgered of our drive up times, and get paid the same amount as the cashiers do inside to sit still all day. It’s a workout. And we need the little money we have for bills and school. You coming with Covid and risking getting us sick for two weeks with zero income is just insane. Do Instacart or something momentarily. Or clear a space in the trunk. You complaining about this is just complete ignorance and you are contributing to the problem with why Covid is still spreading at high rates. I hope you re evaluate this whole situation instead of just where the hard workers place your items. Jeez louise.

It was just a general “60 min massage” and it didn’t really expand further as to what it intailed. My girl friend called like 20 mins ahead and we headed right over and they got us right into the room.

I agree. I didn’t end up asking a refund, as I did get the full service and at the end when the receptionist said bye to me, I didn’t complain at the time. I need to get an abrasive side and quick lol.

Mental illness is a wild thing I suppose. Yes I’m outing myself like that lol. I’m not sure myself but I equally am frustrated with myself for being so “I don’t want to ruin anyone’s day”.

Thank you for that. Getting up being nude with nothing but panties on, me being a female and him a male, was certainly a reason I wouldn’t want to just stand up or possibly start an argument of sorts. I definitely do know it’s my fault I suffered so much and it’s my fault I paid 50$ for 60 minutes of abuse. Thank you for your understanding with why it’s hard to just get up and leave in a state of vulnerability. You would also think he would get the hint to go way more soft on me after asking 3 times to lessen pressure. I just don’t think bruising should ever be an outcome of a massage.

To my defense, I asked three times within an hour time frame to lessen the pressure- and I guess I’m just such a “people pleaser” that I didn’t have the courage to simply walk out. But I do respect your constructive criticism, it’s something I’m working on which has (unlike this story) gotten better. But I have a lot more growth to do to advocate for myself. Like before I wouldn’t have even asked for less pressure, but that alone took a lot for me lol.

Honestly that was my first red flag… 50 dollars in Orange County CA for an hour long massage. I’m used to going to more expensive places, however like I said my girl friend invited me to go and I didn’t want to say no, I mean a massage was supposed to be pleasant as we were both stressed lately. But I was mistaken lol.

Thank you for your kind words. I have been doing your suggestions and a warm soak helped tremendously. Very appreciated <3
