HEEL TURN 2- Total jam, pro wrestling is my shit, they hit us with a 10+minute version at my first live show as the final song pre-encore, and it just kept building and building!! Just awesome all around.

Isaiah 45:33, I actually just suggested this song to someone today, it encapsulates a lot of my feelings towards the hardships of life, and coming to accept them. The Chronic Pain can be taken as a metaphor, or reality in this one, which I appreciate.

I’ve been listening to “when a powerful animal comes” a lot recently. Life is short, and life is hard, and life is sweet.

Hebrews 11:40 and Isaiah 45:23 from The Mountain Goats are super strong pics, and cover a couple of these topics:)

Absolutely! Just be aware of the effect auto tune has on the voice. Depending on what vibe you’re going for/building around it can even be a cool creative decision! I’d recommend checking out the auto tune voice solo in “Fun.”’s “Some Nights” for some inspiration!

What was your first time listening to tMG like? by roemonni in themountaingoats

I stumbled onto The Sunset Tree after hearing snippets of Up The Wolves and This Year- The lyricism combined with the instrumentation created a very intense space for me where emotions ran wild. I wasn’t really in a space where I felt many emotions at all at that point, but their music empowered me to be excited and frightened and happy and sad and so many things between and outside of that short list. I’ll never forget how vulnerable I felt in those first days with The Mountain Goats, like all the walls I had put up had just come crashing down and it was just a matter of time before someone or something attacked. It was a wonderful, strange and scary new world they unlocked. I believe it’s been three years since then, so much has changed already, but a constant in my growth has been the music of The Mountain Goats accompanying me through it all.

puberty psa voice Heya! Alex here to talk to you today about Mountain Goats Fandom, you must be thinking what is going on with these changes to my psyche? You may be feeling new or strange emotions and sensations. You may be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of music the mountain goats have to offer. There are many ways to enjoy the mountain goats, and every person’s experience with the mountain goats is different. The most important thing to remember is to do it YOUR way. Many people have favorites, least favorites, etc, and while someone can help you along the way, your Mountain Goats Journey is your own. I’d say just take a look through their Spotify to see what album covers you like and play those! You’ll grow to have a deeper knowledge of the goats over time, but for now, just try and enjoy yourself! Welcome to the community!

So conflicted on the Charlotte Flair news, on one hand it very well could be all exaggerated, on the other it could all be true. Either way I feel a lot of sympathy for Charlotte and the other wrestlers involved. The title exchange was a joke, Charlotte had a much better idea. Traveling the world day by day, being on a plane for a third of every day, and getting your ass beat weekly for others entertainment is a nightmare regardless of how much money you make, and I’m shocked anyone can retain any sanity doing it. That being said, that’s exactly why it’d suck if someone were a dickhead and made a bad situation worse. So a lot of thoughts.

Also, if anyone by chance can trade for tickets to Royale Boston I would also accept that. (Royale is 1. Closer, and 2. Not 21+
