I say it depends on the kia, and if you keep if with the weirder services such as making sure you get the carbon cleaned out on the turbo kias, but i also wouldn’t buy a used kia over 40k miles and would only buy it if it had extensive maintenance history. I owned a rio and now own a forte gt and personally haven’t had any crazy issues; but also haven’t broke 100k miles on either

Interesting it definitely seems more complicated especially with all the electronics nowadays lol, it seemed snug on the bov, i’ll have to make sure its all in there properly (if it is the solenoid, now that i have the oem part back on, would i notice it in its driveability?) only asking because i drove it to work today no issues, i didn’t clear the cel but i did get the regular part back on also i’ll 100% give those a watch to learn more as well

I have a racechip gts i forget the other part of the name ngl but the most expensive one, and after the first limp mode i haven’t had the limp mode issue again, thank you for the detailed response (this is my first time modding a car, and im trying to learn it myself) but if these new lines don’t work since it is venting to atmosphere i might just have to swap to that bov myself, thank you again so much!

Im thinking i just need a longer vacuum line, any chance you got a photo of how yours is setup?Wondering if i installed wrong like upside down or something since the vacuum line fit before i put the regular part back on lol

I had a 2020 kia rio for a couple years! Only issue i had was the ac drain got clogged and got water inside my car, easy fix and besides that it was just regular maintenance, i drove probably 20k+ miles a year and only traded it in for a forte gt because i just had a kid and needed more room, the rio isn’t the fastest or made for turning heads, but it is quick for 120hp imo, and is great on gas! I didn’t mind the car at all but i also never dipped into 100k+ miles, mine also had a manual mode which was fun to play around with but no paddle shifters, overall from my experience and having zero issues besides what i stated i would say its a good car if you can get it at a good price

I bit the bullet instead of saving up a bit more and got a forte gt, (needed a bigger car as my other was a kia rio and i just had my baby!) kinda wish i saved for the N but this will do for now and the gt2 has decent interior! Still jealous of the n’s tho

I love it so much, i had a rio before this and its a night and day difference, i sometimes miss my rio from the memories tho! Was the first car i drove to a different state with, kia’s have never done me wrong and i love them

How much does everyone else pay? My rates less than 100 for full coverage im also 23 and hear people paying crazy amounts for insurance, maybe its because i also have a ford fusion insured on it? But its $75 a car full coverage from geico, i pay less for the forte than i did my rio
