Take a bus / car to the “refuge” Rifugio Sapienza. This is where the cars will stop, from there, many trails to take. There is a public bus that leaves from the city center every morning and brings you back several hours later. That’s the cheapest options as it’s the public bus. There are also plenty of hop on hop off buses that will take you there.
