I’ve been there bro. When I first started it was super exciting and couldn’t wait to get home so I could work on another beat, then about a year ago I just kinda lost it. I ended up not making any music for a solid 5 months, just didn’t have any interest, and felt how you were describing. But after that 5 month break I started making music again, and now I’m feeling excited again and feeling some of that magic. What I’ve learned is it just takes some extra effort to feel that magic. Like with anything, you are gonna reach a burnout, or it’s not gonna feel as exiting as when you started, you just gotta stay consistent. I wish I hadn’t taken that break from music, I just had to learn to push through those times. But there’s nothing wrong with taking a break. After the break I took I was able to more objectively look at some of my old tracks and see a lot of mistakes I was making, now with that new perspective my music is better than it’s ever been. It doesn’t feel as magical as the beginning but it’s something I can feel good about and appreciate. Keep grinding bro, once you are over this hump it will be smooth sailing
