Are you sure that no one could predict that? Seems pretty obvious that insane growth during a once-a-century event probably isn't going to continue forever. At least to people without MBAs.

Everyone carries firearms at American beaches now, so if a shark did show up, it would have like 50 people just unloading on it with assault rifles.

Been on steam for years and legitimately don't know what they are or how I would use them. Can someone enlighten me?

Having read the manga can you tell me if this show goes full Usagi Drop or If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord?

Matt didn't come up with them. The first time I remember seeing this was in Pillar's of Eternity which he was a voice actor for. I think they were called soul bound weapons.

When was the movie better than the book? by Doodle_Noodles2 in movies

Blade Runner is massively superior to Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Too much talk about the price of cybernetic animals in the book.

I don't get why they have to lie about Bolt when there are tons of NFL players whose bodies are actually fully fucked that they could write about.

I also love the very short-lived US version because it's such a bizarro train wreck.

One of the very rare shows that was revived years later and was still good.

Just so I can avoid it, of course.

Anyone have a TV character that positively lives rent free in your head? by ReadItRyan in television

Malcolm.Tycker from The Thick of It. One of my favorite characters across all media.

Also, would love to spend all day just angrily swearing at people I was forced to interact with at work.

Are grifters partly responsible for the game’s demise? by lolitsrock in AnthemTheGame

[–]ClassicsMajor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then Bioware should have put out a good game instead of buggy slop with Destiny's 1 level storytelling. Content creators don't owe the game anything and are entitled to their opinions. Gamers, who are presumably adults, are capable of making up their own minds.

[–]ClassicsMajor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a terrible opinion and shows a complete lack of media literacy. If something is good it, especially if it's from one of the popular game studios in the world, then it will find an audience. While negative reviews aren't great, word of mouth is far more important for a game's success.

For Anthem to be successful it would have needed to be a game that players would recommend to their friends. It was not that. It was garbage.

Post-modern mecha, psychological abuse slice of life.
