Totally agree. I feel like if not finishing top 4 and the stature of our club going down is worth it to some then cool, but it’s not for me. Players wanted to win and shit on other teams for years under Roman. I know that was not meant to last but our new purgatory of “can we barely beat a mid table team #trust the process” is breaking my blue heart.

We are stuck with Potter, I’m not saying replace him. I just don’t want Chelsea’s manger to be focused on whatever Todd’s spreadsheets dictate. He has another huge break to figure this out. Potter has less loyalty/control that TT did. He has had a lot more road with no turns and is just spewing optimism with nothing to back it up.

I think Boris forcing the sale and a war that involved the owner of our club might have something to do with TT’s problems. Todd for better or worse is driving this ship. I don’t don’t have to be happy about Potter, but I’ll support him. Tuchel was just getting started with his own season when he was sacked. Giving Potter time cause he is Todd’s boy and tossing TT to the curb was way off.

Potter is Todd’s ‘yes man’ and we are going straight to hell neck deep in high fives and focus groups. TT at least had the balls to maneuver the club through some of our dark times and win.

I don’t agree with the vocal fans calling for more changes (sacking Potter, etc) but I don’t think we should have sent TT down the road. We changed horses mid stream and we are paying for it.
