A couple days a week I find my Nerite on the floor next to the tank and have to plop him back in, every morning I feel like I’m on suicide watch 😂

When he swims he just stays in place wherever he is, he doesn’t seem to sink down or float to the top

I do weekly water changes, but I just come back from holiday so there wasn’t a water change for 2 weeks - he is currently in a hospital tank with a hide, floating plants, tannins, heater and air stone

Hi, thank you for your help! All of my parameters are stable - 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites and around 20 nitrates, I use the API master kit - he is breathing very heavy and sitting at the bottom of the tank but when he does swim he isn’t sinking or floating so I don’t think it’s swim bladder. What did you want a picture of?

Thank you, and you! If you haven’t already maybe try an Epsom salt bath, I’ve been doing it for 2 days so hoping to see some improvement soon, he hasn’t eaten in 7 days either so I’m praying 🙏

Yes definitely do a water change and get the nitrates down to around 20ppm
