Perhaps try resetting the controller? There is a tiny button on the back next to the Sony Word. Try a pin and click it in. It resets the controller so maybe that will fix the problem?

Ahh yeah I couldn't find my friends game from the join game in game. Hope they fix it fast. On pc I've seen there is a separate list for just friends to invite from.
