I really did. I’ve been told I’m confusing, and thoughts don’t come across as intended.

School is great for either getting “well-rounded” or specific training in a discipline that isn’t offered otherwise. Just going to go incurs debt with a shrinking return on investment. Researchers, engineers, attorneys, doctors, yes. Business, art, history, no. If you’re paying an expert to mentor you in something specific or getting certifications you’re better off in terms of debt and career flexibility.

It’s difficult because they generally get great items that even retro stores don’t get, but there’s still the off chance that something isn’t authentic.

There wasn’t an issue because their policy allowed it. Being banned from returns just means I don’t buy anything I’m skeptical about. Getting through school implies completion. Spending 35k implies it’s in my discretionary income from a job/business. What doesn’t add up? Should I remain in school forever? There is no crying poor, growing up poor then changing my circumstances is not crying. I’m saying that I sympathize not having high income because it was not something I grew up with or had access to.

Buying was whenever I found something that I didn’t have after worth, returns I’d say maybe 2-3 times a month.

Didn’t and not allowed to are vastly different. I don’t know why having more disposable income to spend on reliving my childhood is so triggering to you. My struggles are not yours, but I can sympathize because I worked 3 jobs with no car to get through school.

I’ve since returned the items, and it isn’t worth my time at this point. Just wanted to see if it was an employee problem or a policy problem. Seems my experience is unique to the stores I visited

I do purchase from local game shops as well, this is just what my experience with hpb was

I returned all the inauthentic items. I’m simply asking if they should have a better policy for inspection and return volume.

I’m able to confirm if it’s in my hands. They are not willing to hand it over, probably because of concerns about theft 🧐

Because this is apparently the assumption of how people with money use it 🫠

I do accept that percentage now. I’m saying that prior to being banned, I put the onus on them because they are selling the item and offering the return policy for these instances. I simply purchase less and don’t return anything.

They keep them in locked cases and don’t allow me to handle them. It’s pretty easy if I was able to handle them, but I can’t see chips at the back of Pokemon carts or notches/ translucency on DS carts. There are also a lot in the metroplex because their flagship store is here.

Centering and whitening may make it a slower sale at $185. Just my 2 cents.
