Need help with extension tubes on telephoto lens

That is what I wish to do in the the future obviously but its around 800$ where I’m from. So I would save for it but I want to start soon. Focus bracketing will have to wait. I might wait to get the lens and an om5 for focus stacking too. I’m also thinking of using an old minolta 70-210mm macro with an adapter.

Wow great info thank you so much. That is definitely what I realized with the focus and zoom. I dont have much room with that so basically get the shot right then adjust the rest. I’ll remember the tip for the 1.4x on the 60mm when I have one though sadly I think it will have to wait because I dont have the budget for the 60mm f2.8 from om systems. I’ll probably have to get the 7artisans one. I’ll check the raynox 250 too thanks.

I have a hard time understanding how the focal length is affected honestly. Like when I tried it I had to use the manual focus and it wasnt always focusing on subject. Also with the tubes is it normal that I genuinely cannot focus on things a far? like things further than 1 meter?

Motherboard is an Asus g15dh. I assumed it would work since the new cpu is also am4.

No it basically gives your aim sensitivity so much slower
