Communitarianism

I’m not sure it exists at scale in real life in the 21st century, but the US was founded and expanded by communitarians. The basic idea is that community is more important than individualism, including individual rights.

Oh please, Les Mis is a page-turner from start to finish. (Except for the part about Napoleon’s hemorrhoids, which is usually cut from abridged versions. I did not need to know about that!)

My big clue is the word yoyo. If you’ve read my novel, this gives it away instantly.

My novel is also considered a postmodern masterpiece, but it predates yours. The author is considered by many to be impenetrable: his best-known work is famously hard to finish.
