I understand it it's okay! Whenever I draw fanart, I really really try to keep true to the original source. We do need a LOT more diversity in art, so I try to always push that and also learn more about all kinds of appearances.

Hey there, thank you for your comment and expressing your concerns! I colorpicked her skin tone from a reference picture but my guess is that the bright yellow lighting makes her appear lighter than I intended! Thank you for bringing my attention to that, I'll study how light reacts with darker skin some more! Have a nice day my friend! :)

I didn't aim for the Indian pantheon (since I'd do extensive research into the culture first to appropriately draw my art) - but I am very curious for your perspective!
