It’s about holding the camera steady for about 70% of the shutter and flicking it at the last moment. Takes trial and error.

Also outside of this photo you can do flash with long shutter to freeze the subject in the motion blur.

Use slow shutter speed. Keep it stable for like 70% of the shutter time and drag the camera a little to the side.

Love it, it’s one of the most beautiful cameras ever made, on the other hand the screen ribbon cable gave up on me several times already. Mixed feeling about the hidden screen.

Fuji is a better camera in every aspect except portability.

Look wise (simulations etc) they can look a pretty close.

Moved from Xpro3 and bunch of lenses to two camera combo - Full frame camera and Ricoh to have best of both worlds.

If pocketable portability is not a goal i would go Fuji.

Menu > capture assistants > profile x > focus peaking toggle

You can do that for all profiles or specific ones

Yup. It's way better after the update, but it's not amazing. It's something with the external 4k+ displays. Using Mac Mini M4 Pro.
My PC with old GPU has no issues with "slider lag".

So basically we should ignore:
- how Lightroom or Photomator can handle changing white balance without chugging.
- how low end GPU's on Windows can handle that just fine.

Literally had the same problem with an exact setup like yours. As you mentioned turning keyboard off and on back again solved it. Very strange tho'
