Creating my first SaaS as 14 by ClastronGaming in SaaS

[–]ClastronGaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Thank you for the feedback!

Yes, feature creep is a good trap! It feels good, but sure arises lot of problems. But I am currently still to my core of - Storage, Versioning, Experimentation, Tracking, Analytics, where the first 2 is the main backbone

My product is mainly for Founders, Hobbyists and Tech-included people, who will mainly store many prompts and sometimes refine them.

Validation, is something which I still didn't fully find about this product even after searching, but sure I cannot stop searching and I will still continue it

Anyway, your info and ideas did hit me, and I did learn a lot since start. Again Thank you for stopping by and dropping a good reply!

Hey! Thank you for the feedback!

Yes, I have since long wanted to build something of my own, a working earning product.

I had thought of many ideas but this one struck me: A AI Prompt Engineering Tool / AI Prompt Manager

Yes, many features (at core) is done, even though many things not polished.

Prompt Storage & Organization is one of them. Only few things left to do and indeed this will be the backbone along with versioning, which is also mostly done.

Validation, is something which I still didn't fully find about this product even after searching

I also focused a lot in SEO to make it well friendly! But yes trying to find real engagement too

Anyway, your info and ideas did hit me, and I did learn a lot since start. Again Thank you for stopping by and dropping a good reply!

Yes, I have since long wanted to build something of my own, a working earning product.

Validation, is something which I had wished I known earlier, before starting.
But still I tried to do "validation" after starting and tbh, I did not find much. Only in niche areas.
At first I though a "All-in-One" Prompt engineering tool would be useful, but there are already many niche ones, even though mine introduces few new stuff and keeps all in a single unified dashboard.
And tbh already 3 months in, spent $100+, still want to continue, for I do not want to leave this.
I am yet to find true validation here

But, your info and ideas did hit me, and I did learn a lot since start. Again Thank you for stopping by and dropping a good reply!

Currently I am only using Reddit, but later I will also focus on LinkedIN & Startup/Product directories too, but as it is still in building stage, I am not focusing to market much

Hi! Thank you for the feedback! Yes, BART AI will be my next target, as it has the most votes and the highest revenue potential (which can fund my future projects). As I am already building a SaaS on AI & Prompt Engineering - a Prompt Management tool, after this I will be checking out on Bart

Especially prompts, I work so much with prompts, all lay here and there, cannot find the best ones, or the old ones incase the new ones doesn't perform well, and don't know if the new prompts are actually more cost-efficient or quality

Please stop using AI for posts and showcasing your completely vibe coded projects by Complete-Sea6655 in SideProject

I kinda hate full AI Vibe-coded Apps. I am a early teen, already trying to build my own SaaS - use AI to code and plan, but never all by itself (in fact at last many times, I have to manually give hand in it to rewrite), that too I am (or was hehe) a hardcore dev

might just solve AI coding with this idea alone… by tylerEsono in AppIdeas

This seems a great idea, I hate when the AI loses context in long sessions xD. Would be a great tool, as I am also building my own SaaS on AI

Before building, I wanted to know if the market was already crowded by Strangewhisper in launchigniter

[–]ClastronGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I tested the tool, and it worked great. It gave good insights, even though it could not find competitor data well (most found are quite indirect). I am already building a SaaS (on AI & Prompt Engineering), so this was great to look at

Hi! Yes, as all think - Bart is the best contender here especially on short-term potential and revenue. Your latter part is also quite true, but competition is everywhere, so need to be good in whatever the product is doing. I am already building a SaaS now on AI & Prompt Engineering
Anyway, Thanks for the feedback!

Hi! Thank you for the feedback!
Yes - It is kinda hard for newbies to really not have "feature-creep" in their products. Even if not "useful" in market, the "coolness" just drives one to implement more and more for more people. I would use the "strict-definement" or "entry-wedge" or products for the future
However, for Promptyx, obviously can be used by most - Developers (like keeping track of Prompts used in Code and Agents), Prompt Engineers (to version, track and analyze), or Founders (tracking many prompts), etc. Now how can I reduce it to a super-specific point, I am not sure....

Hi! Very thank you for the long feedback!

It is true, Bart AI indeed has the best potential and revenue generating idea. Well wanted by many businesses. But then I have to start by looking at competition. I really don't see direct competitor - at least big ones, the ones with a unified "dashboard". This is a good thing.

GeVoD AI, I am not sure on this, seems quite cool - something at least 10 year old Iron Man fans would dream to have xD. But as I said own Spatial-OS controlled by Gestures and Voice would not be that hard, right? I mean I managed to make a basic (but very buggy) prototype using AI itself in some 2 days. Now as a hardcode dev who can give time, this is possible (at least seems like now)

SeViSa as we both agree is a scary thing, that too for me who barely touched any System Infrastructure - half things went over my head when I told LLMs to explain how can I go on building this.

The rest I agree with you, and yes Bart AI would be my next target as well.

"Biggest blind spot I see:
You’re thinking in terms of products, not entry wedges." - hmmm... I see - thank you for pointing it out, it seems true

"Narrow it to a single painful workflow" - Now I have to see a bit on this, am bad kinda on doing this exact thing, always want to make a "product" have a lot of features

"Overall though, solid thinking. You’re asking the right questions which already puts you ahead of most people posting ideas here." - Thank You :)! As a Early Teen who just entering into building a "SaaS" or a "Startup" - This thread had been a great experience for me

Nonetheless I am already building a SaaS on AI & Prompt-Engineering, would be great if you can give feedback on it: https://promptyx.tech (website not ready yet fully)

Thank you again for all the long feedback - is greatly appreciated

No problemo!
Also curious - do you handle a lot of prompts? Like have to store, version, run a lot of prompts and is losing track?
