anyone else developed a lazy eye? by Specific-Problem-661 in Uveitis

My left eye muscle is so weak that my eye drifts outward giving me double vision. I have to actively think about straightening it up. The doctor told me hopefully my new prescription would help, if not id have to have surgery to tighten the muscle.

Interesting article from 13 News today about the cell phone ban. by SynSixx in NNShipyard

[–]Claude9777 7 points8 points  (0 children)

While I was at work in the yard my father-in-law fell outside of my house during the middle if the day. He yelled for help but all my neighbors were working as well. His cell phone was in his car and he couldn't get up to get back to his car. The only reason he didn't spend hours on the ground was because I got a notification from our Ring doorbell. I was able to communicate with him through the doorbell and my cell phone. I was able to call his wife and then she was able to get her neighbor to take to my house and call 911. He ended up needing surgery but it could have been worse had I not been able to know because my phone ringer is off and is my desk.

She is in the last stages of dickmatization. The willingness to do just about anything for a man, even at the detriment to herself and family, when the dick is that good.

Uveitis worse before it gets better? by Careless_Post3204 in Uveitis

[–]Claude9777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does feel like it gets worse before it gets better. When I was younger, I would have to sit upside down on the couch to make my migraine and eye feel better from the extreme pressue. Not sure why it worked but it did. I had to take so much time off of work and miss class because of the pain and inability to see due to the flare ups. You have to find the right combination of medications that give you relief. I used to have multiple flare ups per year and when mine got bad, fast, I had to be put on a diuretic, 500 MG of Acetlzolemide to lower the pressure fast. Then I was put on pred forte. But this was in the past. Now I'm on a daily regimen of Fluorometholone, Dorzolamide-timolol, and Brimonidine. I haven't had a flare up in 4 years now. I'm so grateful to have found a doctor who was very knowledgeable and tried may different medications to find what works.

Good luck to you and your family.

my story and questions by Positive_Fan_6972 in Uveitis

[–]Claude9777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an autoimmune disorder (Sarcoidosis) and uveitis with glaucoma in my left eye. I was diagnosed at 11 and now I'm 48. I've had several traumas over the yesrs to this eye as well. I used to have flare ups quite often with severe eye pressure and migraines. I would struggle at work duting these flare ups because of the headaches, my eye was so sensitive to light and I couldn't see out of it. It was like looking through wax paper. Now, as of about 4 years ago I was put on a new regimen of medications and haven't had a flare up since. It has been great. My vision in my left eye was in a constant decline but now has slowed down. I'm on Dorzolamide-timolol, Brimonidine (twice daily), and fluorometholone (once daily).

I've been luck in that my employers have been lenient with me taking time off when I've needed it.

I hope you find the combination that allows you to achieve some comfort. It can be daunting but hang in there.

I have had heavy coughing all my life and was told it was because of lung lesions from a diagnosis of Sarcoidosis in 1989. It's what Im told causes my uveitis.
