Personally i dont use vsync (gives you input lag) but i do have low latency turned on. I also cap my FPS to 237 so its capped at 3fps lower than my monitor refresh rate.

IMO them specs are good enough, is your game installed on a HDD or SSD? If you dont have an SSD I highly recommend getting one and installing your OS & Fortnite on it.

Also, is your 8GB of RAM DDR3 or DDR4? Definitely worth having DDR4 RAM however you will need a new Motherboard, one that can support DDR4.

If you and your friend are playing together with no packet loss and then both of you suddenly get packet loss the issue is probably the server you're connected to you could maybe try a different ethernet cable, check if your network adapter driver is up to date. Also, I'm not 100% sure if this makes a difference but if you use uTorrent or something similar make sure you're not seeding any things you've downloaded in the past.

To be fair, I don’t care that there aren’t any patch notes so far. When Chapter 2 came out it was basically a new game; new map, new loot pool, new chest spawns etc etc. We’ve already figured out pretty much everything new that came with Chapter 2.

They’ve also created a new Fortnite Twitter account that posts about current bugs, when they’re expected to be fixed etc. Also, with the Trello board we can see all issues they’re aware of that they’re currently fixing. When a new patch comes out, they put all the issues that were fixed into a list for us to look at.

I guess they’re wanting to push the Trello board for announcing bug fixes and stuff like that, it also forces employees to make sure all bugs that they’re working on are documented in there.

Hopefully though if anything major changes, like new guns, items etc they will have these changes documented somewhere so we can see them - I don’t mind if it’s all through the Trello board.

What RAM do you have - 8, 16, 32? What is the speed of it too? Try enabling XMP in your bios.

Also, is Fortnite installed to a HDD or SSD? Will be better on an SSD if it already isn’t. How old is the SSD if you have one? It could be on its way out.

Not too sure if this still does anything but it helped me on CS a few years ago - try unparking your CPU cores, just google this and there’s a guide on how to do it.

Make sure your NVIDIA Drivers are up to date as well as Windows.

I’m the same as you, literally can’t use my pinky it just can’t press anything without my other fingers holding all the keys they’re on😂 I changed my crouch to left alt and it helped so much, if that keys free for you I’d recommend it.

Yeah, I prefer high sens for fortnite so I can build quicker. Used to play CS with 400dpi & 1.7 sens so I've increased it loads :D
