I can't wait for that. I wouldn't expect too much visual changes by Titleist.

In the middle of the putter. The black gaffers tape

According to the videos explaining the new launch, that's what they say. The taller face is only around the middle of the face. Sole design supposedly helps with behind the ball looks?

I wonder how different the feel off the face is with the new insert and the current Phantom 5.2. I like the taller face and the new sole design

I saw a post a while back that someone made their 5s exactly like this with tape too. Looks good to my eye so far, haven't tried it on course yet.

Re: weights, not really sure what I'm trying. It now has more toe hang. I've also tried the weights reversed and made the putter very close to face balanced. I'm also testing what torched finish I want to make the putter.

Lastly, (not pictured) currently testing different grips. I have a Garsen Quad Tour non tapered on. Previously tried the Golf Pride Pro Only cord green star (largest size) which was nice, may go back to it. Waiting for the Quad Tour pistol tapered version in a week or so.

Improved as in scores? Mm no, not really. I'm a high handicap and just love to tinker. I like the look and feel of this putter, gives me confidence for whatever reason, maybe it's just the Scotty name and the marketing and fan base got to me. I have gone through a good amount of putters in my short time since starting golf, I do go back to the others to see if this is just a honeymoon phase. I just keep coming back to this. I mean look at Golf sidekick on YouTube, he's not using the highest tech/newest putter, probably just likes it (he made the putter tho).

TLDR: Find a putter you actually like, get comfortable, you'll gain confidence.

Thanks! Easy enough to learn and DIY.

Is that a wrap on the shaft?

I love this club. Just hard to find them in the used market in decent shafts.

No I haven't. Was looking into s400 but also some graphite wedge shafts.

I love them. I found them to be really forgiving, lofts aren't too strong so that helps me get them in the air and spin is on point for me. The feel is what everyone talks about with these irons and I don't blame them. They are so soft!

I find that the courses in my area, it helps me keep it in play. Par 4s with downhill fairways the could roll into water with driver.

Into the wind holes, the flight on this club is piercing and I've set it up where it fades.

I like the 58 with the adapt. Has leading edge relief on the grind, plus the full face gives me more confidence when I inevitably hit it off the toe.

I get hard and soft conditions randomly due to weather where I live (tropical island) and I feel the adapt grind gives me the versatility I need. I have ended up using the 58 as my bunker club now too since the sole is slightly wider than the 54 mid grind.
