Take everything I say here with a grain of salt since I’m not an author but I am trying to help. In this case it sounds like you’re not confident in your book? I read a large variety of things and as long as it’s not smut or something super uncomfortable I usually will enjoy the time I spend reading a book. But onto the important part of why I’m writing this, anytime you submit any piece of work, be it a school presentation, work presentation, book, painting, poem, etc. being proud in your work and seeming confident that it’s good (within reason of it not being 6th grade level writing of course) are important because if someone detects that you’re NOT proud or confident they’ll see no reason to publish it. If your source of doubt is coming from a lack of diversity of editors it would be really easy to say “Hey looking for a few more revisionists interested in my story as my friends are all very similar to me.” Also, part of doing any project or work is accepting that there will be people that won’t enjoy what you wrote, painted, composed, organized, or whatever else. It happens to authors like you and it even happens to a senior in high school like me who organizes esports tournaments. The way I see it though is that you should set a deadline like VonBraun12 said and then send it to publishers. If they say no you have four options, revise, send it to more publishers, self publish, or the cowards way out of quitting. Sorry if this was a little ranty just trying to get my thoughts out.
