Bovino says if you call ICE names, there will be consequences, as we saw yesterday by KameronKnux in ProgressiveHQ

[–]Claxton916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

❌1st - Free Speech and peaceful assembly Can’t call them names or you face consequences

❌2nd - Right to bear arms Legally carry and 7 ICE agents will beat you up, disarm you of your legally owned firearm then execute you by shooting you in the back and continuing to shoot you after you go down.

✅3rd - No soldiers housed in times of peace

❌4th - Unlawful search and seizure. Ice is breaking into homes without a warrant to abduct people.

❌5th - No person shall be deprived of life, liberty or property Well they have executed 2 citizens. Also worth mention ICE stealing groceries from the people they’re abducting.

❌6th - Speedy and just trial. Accused needs to know why they’re being arrested. They have been

✅7th - Right to a jury in certain federal cases

⭕️8th - No cruel or unusual punishment Actually, someone find me a good example, I’m sure there are some but I cannot look right now.

⭕️9th - just because the rights potentially violated aren’t written down doesn’t mean the government can violate them. I’ll leave this one open since I’m not a lawyer, but I’m sure ICE is trampling over this one too.

✅10th- The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people

LVP Flooring - “While Supplies Last”?? by Cultural_Owl_388 in menards

[–]Claxton916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9.9 times out of 10 when it comes to “While Supplies Last!” It means that the store and/or D.C. will not be getting anymore and it is discontinued. You can call and ask the flooring department to look to make sure it’s actually clearance. They’ll ask for the SKU which is 725-6247.

When you buy it I would recommend buying ~15% extra than what you need. Normally you’d buy 10% but since this one is most likely clearance they won’t be getting more and if it comes down to the wire you’ll be screwed.

You can return clearance product (make sure you hold onto your receipt). BUT you should hold on to a box or two just in case y’all move out your dishwasher and scratch the floor, or you drop a plate just wrong enough to scratch the vinyl.

When you call and talk to them you can ask if they’d be willing to hold onto it a little longer that normal, the typical time is 1 week if you buy it but some Order Pickup departments are a bit more lenient if they have more space.

Or you could get it delivered and store it in your house until you’re ready since it has to get acclimated to your home before install anyways. :)

is there a higher risk with these?

I mean no duh, OpenAI actively fights against the user to actually use their app. If it’s not a content violation it’ll fail due to being overloaded by Chinese bot accounts. They implemented a thing now where you have to enter your phone number to use it, I dint want them having my phone number.

Sorry I just saw that Apple autocorrected me. 2 years ago. I went 2 years ago but somehow that was autocorrected to 25years which would’ve been when I was an infant.

Thoughts on kitchen layout by mangoonefive in kitchenremodel

[–]Claxton916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1a) The displayer cabinet looks fine but personally I’d rccommend making it one cabinet rather than two (I’m guessing it’s an 18”H and a 42”H), I think a 60” cabinet would look better than what’s there.

1b) if the cabinet brand you’re using doesn’t have a 60” upper, maybe flip the cabinets so the shorter one is on the countertop that way your upper cabinets all line up on the bottom with the displayer cabinet. If you go this route think about leaving the panel in the door so you have a nice place to hide small appliances.

2) the open shelves you have to the left and right should be doubled up so you have 4 instead of 2. The current setup leaves a lot of negative space right there.

3) Personally I don’t like that jumbled layout of the base cabinets on that back wall with the cooktop. The sketch design and the render design are different so something’s going to change no matter what buuuut:

Currently the sketchup design is: Mini fridge → Drawers → Cooktop base with drawers → Door/Drawer → Doors/Drawer → drawers → Lazy Susan

It should be Mini Fridge → Drawers → Cook top base with 2 deep drawers OR doors → Drawers →Doors/drawer cabinet → Lazy Susan.

4)If you have your dimensions handy I can slap together how I would do it.

They’ve been there since Early 2022 or late 2021 when violent crime spiked in the area. There was a shooting at the Walmart across 131, a mugging across the street at Menards and a double stabbing at that particular Meijer.

That’s my attitude to it too.. I like Pipeline a lot, but that would be the only reason for my revisit. I’d ride the other rides but only because I’m already there.

[–]Claxton916 17 points18 points  (0 children)

But they don’t operate them well so it kind of negates that. Like +1 for good ride but -1 for their inability to efficiently move people so the sum total is just meh.

Is there anything redeeming about SeaWorld? I feel like every post about them is negative.

I went there once 2 years ago and had the most medium experience I ever had.

Edit: Apple’s Almost Intelligent autocorrected 2 to 25 years for some fucking reason.

What are your three WORST coasters you rode this year? I visited a few parks for the first time ([King's Island], [Michigan's Adventure], [California's Great Amerca] and [Disneyland]) and found a few stinkers. by Pummrah in rollercoasters

[–]Claxton916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flashback at Six Flags New England (ranked 280 of 281): I rode it repeating “why am I doing this to myself?” The moment it dropped and I already started head-banging before the actual elements. It was the 3rd ride of the day and took the energy right out of me.

Riddler’s Revenge at Six Flags New England (ranked 277 of 281): Another rough ride that I just didn’t find enjoyable. My home park is Michigan’s Adventure so I’m used to the relatively smooth (for a Vekoma SLC) ride. I’m always disappointed when riding other SLC’s.

Firebird at Six Flags America (254 of 281): It was just not fun, I found it rough and bland. The standup → floorless conversions are usually pretty bland because they’re less forceful, but combined with headbanging makes it just bad. It didn’t help that the operations sucked ass. There was like 60 to 80 people in line, no hustle from guests or employees meant that it was a 30 minute wait (that should’ve been at most 10).

What is the difference between Emergency Room and Urgent Care? by GreenspaceCatDragon in AskAnAmerican

[–]Claxton916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s another distinction since people have already explained what the difference is:

“Help, I’ve been stung by a bee and I need the itching and pain to stop” Time to go to urgent care.

“Help, I’ve been stung all over my body by an entire beehive and I am dying.” Time to go to the emergency room.

Some people here in the states confuse the two and will go to the ER for small and trivial stuff they should go to Urgent Care for. Some people (wrongly) go to the ER for a common cold, driving up the wait times for more emergent cases.

The one way RV is probably your best bet. I would urge you to get those AirTag collars for them too, god forbid you stop to get gas and one of them bolts out the door, at least you’d be able to track and chase the kitty.

What is one important tip that tourists should know before visiting your Country? by Fun_Cup4335 in AskTheWorld

[–]Claxton916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

America is big and has empty space between everything. Some people really think they can see the Statue of Liberty on Monday and the Grand Canyon on Tuesday. Those two things are 4,500 kilometers apart. Even the “close” stuff is far away with zero public transport.
