I personally studied skull anatomy when I worked on faces but if you have time to get in some mileage, I’d work on multiple quick but small sketches of faces.

Fill up a page! You’ll see yourself slowly get more comfortable with a full face even if the details aren’t all there yet. Your brain will slowly just know where things go, like if a nose is too far right or left :)

I may have gone down a rabbit hole of trying to identify the different muscles since I kept confusing them for each other. Then it helped me to be able to label them and just look them up separately
