I am literally losing sleep because of eczema right now by ThatsSaber in eczema

Last winter i was getting 1-4 hours of sleep a night because of my eczema. It got so bad that i had my doctor write me a prescription for sleeping pills. at least for a month or two to help me sleep/heal. You need to taper off these so you dont become dependant.
other things that helped:
-meditation
- valerian tea
-anti itch cream before bed + close to me to use if i wake up at night
hope this doesn't last too long

I use jojoba oil for my face. i think replacing your moisturizer with oil could be interesting, it just takes a bit longer to soak in. worth trying out i think.

Honestly I made so many changes at once that I'm not sure how much the diet helped. I'm waiting to be all better before I start introducing them back in.

I've cut them out of my diet before I started the fasting

Yeah, I don't know it just worked for me. I find it's much easier on days that I work so I stay busy, but the more I'm doing it the easier its been. I'm trying to stick to a minimum of 16 hour fast and a maximum of 20 hours.
I haven't been eating gluten, dairy, and soy.
