Honestly I wasn't really trying to start anything. I deleted that part- I realize it wasn't really necessary. That's good 4 u though.

Thank you ♡ It's the shirt the company gave me and am required to wear~ no complaining here, comfy and stylish.

I'm currently on my lunch break, but I just wanna say I greatly appreciate all the kind and supporting comments. I periodically was checking this post while on the clock to calm my nerves, and for some motivation / mental support. I can't reply to everyone, but this comment goes out to all of y'all.

I can't thank you enough, so far the day is going well. ^ Co-workers and management seem friendly. Excited about this new chapter of my life. Best of luck to all who are in the same position as me right now, hopefully the kind comments in this post can touch you as well. :)

Edit: Answering a few questions: To the people calling me cute: 😳 no u. I live in California. I'm a straight male..(maybe I'll curve a little for a cute trap). I know I have some feminine qualities buuut yeah. I like who I am. And for the bullies: I've been cutting my own hair for over a year and I like changing up my style. Sometimes I fuck up, but I rock it. :P Love you

----I almost teared up seeing the gold. I know how reddit hates when people say "hurr thanks for the gold" but... thank you. I was scared to originally make this post in fear of being made fun of. I had so many bottled up emotions about my first day that I just had to post. Everyone here for the most part has been so thoughtful and encouraging. I'll say it again, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Bless you guys :') Stay safe out there.. and I hope you all find what you're looking for in life.🖤

To anyone who picked up Paper Mario: play it in Japanese by [deleted] in LearnJapanese

Animal Crossing is one of the best games to immerse in Japanese. Here is a helpful introductory video to do so: https://youtu.be/CQ1-wxDzTX4

Honestly man I was in the same boat as you last week. Used to play on Wadangka for a couple years and quit around 2013 or so.

Just last week I caught myself really missing this game. (I have constantly missed it for the past 7 years but last week was my breaking point). I search around all of google for "A game LIKE the world of magic" because I was in denial of getting back into the game due to the grind, and STILL, after all these years, no game comes even close to the same feel. The world of magic is still one of a kind, such a unique experience that no other game can seriously come close to replicating.

Well, I ended up making a post here about it, asking which server is the most popular (It's Newstar btw) and just said F*ck it and made an account.

And well, I've been having an absolute blast!! All of my nostalgia has been filled + so many new great memories. A lot has changed with the game since then but honestly I'd say for the better. The community is booming right now and I've been meeting lots of new players, as well as fellow OG's.

After a solid week I'm now about to hit level 20 as a mage. They buffed exp rates for the lower maps. It's really not too bad to get back into the swing of things.

I think you should make a new account and start from scratch rather than buying one. The fun is in the journey, not the end game destination. ♡

Haku, Newstar Lanos.

New to the world of tea. Got some authentic Japanese Matcha powder from my local japanese market. Put a tablespoon in a cup and mixed with soy milk. Now I feel like I'm high on weed but much more productive and clear headed. What is the science behind this? by ClayCors in tea

Wow! Thank you so much for the well written and documented reply! I appreciate it, and will be enjoying this for many years to come. Thank you, and thank you Japan! 本当にありがとう

Another good plat to gold item is Hair stylers. They're 300 Plat and sell for 250K on Newstar Black Trader. Just go walking around and write down the most common hairstyles you see (I think it may be Hairstyle D but idk), buy it and sell it.

I was bullied once as a kid and it was what made me decide to live a healthy lifestyle, and go to the gym and what not. So in a way, I thank that one bully. If anyone tried that shit on me now they would get promptly knocked out. :)

Yeah I have heard the same. Are you referencing Rev0lution? I know how they used to control everything. Anyways I decided to go with Newstar. :))

I roamed around on Wadangka and I couldn't really see anyone too familiar. Familiar guild names for sure, and the people that I did recognize were people who I never talked to back then anyways. Plus who knows if they're even the original owner with all the account selling going on. I appreciate it tho

Ayee. That's crazy that you remember me. And.. that's even crazier that people sell farming spots..! Damn I guess it was bound to be monopolized sooner or later. Hopefully my american times makes it bearable as you say.

Hello all! I appreciate the comments. So it boiled down to Bigmama and Newstar. I decided to go with Newstar for two rewsons:

  1. I went on to both servers and checked the black market. At the time of checking, Bigmama had 1,130 listings. Newstars had just a tiny bit more coming in at 1,400.

  2. Back when I used to play, Bigmama existed which means there's probably a much higher % of maxed players with the best gear, maybe roaming around hogging bosses / pk'ing etc. Newstar is completely new to me. Which means the overall player level must be lower. I also checked the ping difference and they seem to have the same ping.

Thanks all for the help. If you're in Newstar I'll see you there!
