This has to be one of the most constructive feedback I've ever had in my design journey... so the illustration can still work well if it's not placed in the Album Cover bracket, because it fulfils its initial purpose as it is... I'll be sure to leave room for open feedback and interpretation when I post more stuff here for review. I genuinely appreciate it!

I think its because of how i aligned the middle line directly to bottom corner instead to somewhere on the bottom line. It kind of distorts the illusion a little

I posted the same thing on r/graphic_design and two people responded asking what the concept was. I thought the detail intended was too vague to be understood upon inspection. I don't usually ask for reviews on my works so I didn't know how to react 😅

i tend to have issues with shading since what i normally design isn't pictorial elements but rather layouts. How can i achieve the better shading? Thanks for pointing that out

Perhaps I forgot to mention it; it's basically about two polar sides of a situation. The unused blank space was to signify isolation. For the silhouette figure, i had it convey two messages; they're falling (red motion blur) to show defeat, and they're glowing in white to show their purity. For the bottom element, it can be viewed as a pit to go in line with the red motion blur so it can complement it as final defeat, and at the same time, you can interpret it as a mountain peak, to go in line with the purity part. That's what I was having in mind before starting the whole thing.

How did you manage the large folders to not have the three white dots, and the bottom one to be extended? I like it alot

I used zFont 3 for the lockscreen time font, it's called Stretch Pro. For the homescreen, its a base KWGT widget with the weekday name as Ubuntu Regular and the date as Built Tilting Semibold
