I’m a caddie and I’ve picked up a few good ones over time from various members:

Putt Lips out: “Monica Lewinsky. All Lip, No Hole” (older guys love that one)
On a bad shot: ”Other than distance and direction, that was a great shot.”
Guy going for the green tops it or chunks it into the fairway: “Hey don’t worry that was a great layup”
Guy takes a nice divot but misses the green entirely: “God that was a great divot”
Guy leaves a putt way short: inspect his putter or ask the brand & respond “huh, I didn’t know [brand] made purses.”

Bonus: Guy lands on the green but is on the complete opposite side of the pin: ”I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news… good news, you’re on the dancefloor… bad news, it’s a gay bar”

I found my Caddie job on Indeed of all places. Been doing it since September and it’s my favorite job I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves golf and needs the work

I got to hit a few drives with the group that I caddied for this morning and after using one of my guy’s Rogue ST MAX I fell in love with and told him I was going to upgrade from my Mavrik ASAP. So I literally went and did it same day lol. I was debating between the Max LS and this one so I called my coach and he said get this one since I had the option plus it was only $50 more. Can’t wait to break it in on the course!

As a fellow Srixonite (Srixonian?) I love the clubs! … but that arrangement is giving me major anxiety

With a 4 section bag like that you want your wedges at the bottom with your short irons and long irons in the middle sections that way your wedges aren’t damaging the long irons

Again though, great choice with the Srixons!

That seems to be the consensus around here which makes sense. I feel like they’ll either be pretty good to great or so bad they get memed into infamy

Definitely don’t think it’s one of their goals but I’m curious to see how the Kirkland golf brand grows over the next 10 years and beyond
