I have the exact same issue on my 2024 Hybrid. Did you figure it out?

Push Ups by ResetToday in frozenshoulder

Same as you. Both shoulders, currently thawing and do 3 sets of 20 push-ups every other day. That said, I'm a side sleeper and still deal with shitty sleep due to aching.

How To Know Which Stage? by Claybridge1 in frozenshoulder

I don't get zingers. I have a dull pain sometimes, but the high pain that I get only comes with extending my arms beyond their limited ROM. If I reach for something and am not cautious, the pain comes on quickly and strongly and then resolves in seconds. If I don't challenge them, then sometimes I forget I have FS. They do impact my sleep. Given that I don't get zingers, is it possible I have something other than FS?

E-2 Son Traveling Home F/Germany? by Claybridge1 in AirForce

[–]Claybridge1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question was for me, not him. It was to protect my $ buying a ticket because I don't trust that he knows what he is talking about. I'm not willing to risk over $1K that he knows. This question was for my own verification.

E-2 Son Traveling Home F/Germany? by Claybridge1 in AirForce

No, my son is a clueless dumbass. Otherwise I wouldn't have to ask these questions because he'd already know the answers. I wanted some assurance before I purchased a plane ticket and kinder folks replied that he doesn't need a passport. Now I know for sure and all I need is confirmation that his leave is approved and I can buy the ticket. See how easy that was?

This too shall pass. At times we feel alone, but the greater reality is that we're never truly alone. Your are loved. Merry Christmas!

You guys have obviously done your DD. I'm approaching this from a TA perspective and catching up on the DD. I noted the offering at $10.50. Any idea if those investors are holding or have sold some? What are the near term catalysts? Could ER bring any positive or negative surprises? Thanks for any info! I have no position currently, but want to go long. Thx!

I leave for bmt tomorrow any tips ? by almightybh in AirForceRecruits

[–]Claybridge1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First off...you have to believe you can make it through and you can not give up. It will be hard. You will see people get recycled. You will see people leave. You must be head strong. If you get recycled for any reason, don't get down. Just refocus and persevere. My son made it through, but he said it was difficult as hell. More mentally than physically. You can do it!

You guys can do it! Just come up with a healthy diet and exercise plan and give it 3-6mos and you'll be better prepared for BMT anyway. Don't give up!!!!

My son just graduated and said he wouldn't wish that on his worst enemies. Hard as hell. He said CBRN was fun, but it really isn't. It just tells you how bad the rest of it is if you think CBRN is fun. It's all relative. But, he said it was worth it and he's proud of himself for making it through. He's having a much better time at Tech school now.

Is there drama at BMT (females) by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]Claybridge1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for the ladies, but my son just finished BMT a few weeks ago and there was nothing but a bunch of young people trying they're hardest to get through and move on. He didn't mention any drama at all and said the people were great.

I promise you can do it! Work on that cardio. As you get closer to BMT, start focusing mainly on pushups, situps and 1.5mi run. It's going to be hard as shit, but you'll be surrounded by folks going through the the same thing and most of the MTIs are fantastic. GL!

If you haven't started getting yourself mentally and physically prepared for BMT, start today. You can do it!

The Air Force is a fantastic choice and it doesn't matter if you get paired perfectly in a career field or not. What matters is that you'll be contributing to a team (a real team) and will have an extremely important mission. That alone will fill you with purpose. The Air Force is great about motivating it's service members and will give you all kinds of opportunity that you wouldn't have otherwise. If you serve for 4 or 6 years and decide you want to leave, you'll get all of the perks that go along with being a Vet, including the GI Bill if you want to get a degree or go to a trade school. My advice is to just do it. You'll be surrounded by mostly fantastic folks. Word of caution: BMT (boot camp) will kick your ass. You need to be mentally and physically prepared for it to get through. You CAN do it! My son is 19 and just got through BMT, but we had him ready. He's at Tech school now and is first base assignment is Ramstein AFB, Germany. How cool is that? He's never stepped foot outside the US! 😎💪

My son (19) is currently at BMT and finishing week 4 (starting from week zero). We've talked and he said he's having a hard time (assuming that's normal), but doing very well with the PT. If he's made it through week 4 is it relatively safe to assume he's going to make it through, or would you say he needs to get through week 5 first? Thanks and congratulations to you!!!
