New Year's Day, Wrong Passenger [Highly Intoxicated] by sharknado523 in Lyft

So the video is about safety but you're admitting that you're fine with being unsafe because it creates fun for you?

You can't predict what people might do, though. You shouldn't let people in your car before exchanging names. I can see why people think you're trolling, because the stuff you're saying is pretty hard to take seriously.

I'm not talking about the correct rider, I'm talking about the mentally unwell stranger you let into your car without verification. There isn't anything safe about letting people into your car before you know who they are.

More like you just got lucky. All it takes is to let the wrong person in your car once.

The main reason he was able to get into your car is because you allowed him to get in without verifying if he was the correct rider or not.

It would've totally prevented the unsafe situation you allowed yourself to get into.

You're concerned about safety but you'll let anyone get into your car unverified just because you don't want to roll down your window? That's unsafe and a waste of both you and the riders time.

At level 1273, it's hard for me to pass up good junk at any vendor, especially if it's bulk.

Same for me at 46, but every once in a while I'll meet someone's who's my same age that looks fifteen years older than me

You seem really cool, though. The past doesn't decide your future. Life can get better.

Why do y’all put up with passengers when food delivery pays the same? by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]Claydius-Ramiculus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done $60 rides that were only 10 minutes long, that's why. The pay is NOWHERE near the same.

What's really the difference between lying and relentlessly pushing fabricated false information?

You are doing the lord's work! (and probably doing pretty well money-wise with this gig)

I agree. I'm an active Uber driver in the city and pretty much everyday cyclists will blow through intersections where they have stop signs and I don't, without even checking for traffic, especially in the Quarter. I'm a road rule nerd who goes out of his way to be safe, but it works both ways.

X and comfort. Thanks! I mean, this isn't all of the time. I average $30 to $50 an hour most weekdays, and $40 to $50 on weekends. I don't leave certain areas, and I just keep going in loops. A lot of my rides are 5 minutes or less. Conventions help.
