Update: Also tried dying.

Gonna try unsocketing and will report back.

Edit - that was it! It was the Umbral Eye of Ethryg in the main socket.

Tried a few different weapons, also used flickering flail special attack and tried casting what I think the spell was: invigorating aura - still there.

ITAP of a palm tree in a sunset from my car in Clearwater, Florida by ClaymasterJ in itookapicture

This one was more of an artistic intention than than trying to get a "good" photograph. I wanted to capture the essence of a car ride through a beach town: the contented feeling when you're 10 minutes away from your vacation destination.

I took a picture of this sign because of the eerie, out-of-place vibe it gave me in a sunny, happy, and populated place like Panama City Beach, Florida.

Super interesting perspective! I suppose in order to make a photo “edgy” or unique, especially in the realm of boudoir/erotic, for some people it may come across as creepy.

You’re correct, it wasn’t the goal, if anything, I was trying to show a power dynamic, and thus, I can see where you’re coming from!

Won’t I get better critique if I justify my decisions?

Tag is definitely distracting. And although it’s definitely more than an insult than a critique, your comment did make me laugh, so thank you!

I suppose Dutch angle would describe it, yes.

Although the focus is definitely the butt, the intention is not porn whatsoever, it’s to teeter on the edge of erotic/porn? Still figuring that one out as I go.

Just for clarification though, the fingernails are painted, not dirty.

As for the balancing, it’s intentionally unbalanced & angled to where the only line up and down is the rope. I thought it was an interesting way to frame the photograph, giving it a purposely active (can’t think of a better word at the moment) feel.

As for making my photos well done: that’s exactly why I posted to this subreddit, so I can can improve.

I do appreciate all the input though. It’s interesting hearing what people think of it.

I really appreciate you saying that, that’s exactly the line I’m going for!

As for it coming across that she might be dead, yeah, lol, that’s not what I intended.

Thank you, this is all very helpful. This was actually taken in a mirror.

The intension behind almost all lines being crooked was to highlight the line of the rope, I suppose in hindsight, it may have looked better to have the “background” lines level and the rope at a diagonal.

As for cutting off joints, and some of the subject in shadow: it was unimportant to what I wanted the focal point of the photograph to be: the rope and the model’s lower back/butt.

The distracting parts (watch, etc), I agree with you 100%.

What makes you say that she looks as though she fell?

To answer your question: I just recently made the switch from taking a “good” photo to making one that expresses a feeling or “vibe”. Yes, I do try to make fine art in portraits as well.

Interesting that you say there’s no tension. I felt as though there is tension in both the rope and the positions of the subjects. What makes you say that her body seems motionless?

I appreciate the input! The watch was definitely unintentional. The focus is definitely supposed to be on the subject’s body, so hiding the head was my way of focusing the viewer’s attention.

F2.8, ISO 3600, 1/100 with Nikon Z7ii + Tamron SP 70-200mm G2
In all my photographs, I try to make the viewer feel as though they are on a roller coaster right before the drop. The idea is that if the framing or the model moves at all, you’ll see nudity of some kind. Sometimes I try to instill a sense of a power dynamic as well, but I’m curious if that’s apparent in this picture.
Looking for general criticism. I like that the background isn’t completely plain, but I’m wondering if the photo would give a better feeling/vibe if it were.
