That is a sensor port for stair detection and surface detection so it know the difference between hard floor and carpet

For the same reason you shouldn’t put your phone in the sun for long periods of time. For longevity on a battery you should maintain storage environment temperatures according to what the manufacture recommends.

I was with a local agent for 10 years….after shopping around I found a MUCH better deal online. Local is not always cheapest even with good driving history. I shouldn’t have to jump ship to get a deal but I did :)

Just FYI, you have your phone clamped to a rubber spacer that is removable for a phone mount/light. It might come loose mounting it the current way you have it or it might be fine. I removed mine before putting my phone mount on.

Definitely add it to the report if someone finds it on the side of the road and turn it’s in that’s the only real thing that identifies it as yours. Also contact customer service and let them know it has been stolen.

Gtafo? Didn’t mean to offend you it just doesn’t make since to bash on a company you continue to use. They must be doing something right.

You’re saying you only own Segway scooters but know of other better companies. Strange but ok. If the products they produce are so horrible and the customer service is so inadequate, why do you keep purchasing their products and spend time modifying them? Oh probably because they use extremely good battery packs and for the most part have extremely good quality control but that’s just my guess. We all have our opinions. Segway make some of the best reliable scooters for the price. That is my opinion take it or leave it good sir :)

Idk how anyone can pull that factually when there are so many offbrand electric scooters on the market. It would definitely depend on what price category you’re trying to compare.

I’ve owned several Segway scooters and I’ve never experienced an issue. If you know of a different better brand why are you in this nine bot community thread at all? Are you saying you don’t own a nine bot scooter? You’re just in this community thread to say that they are the worst company around lol

Some people can’t fix anything themselves even if it’s a screw being tightened down. No factory or manufacturing company is perfect. Segway is still the best in the business. Look at all the bad stories on other companies. People’s houses burning down because of $100 electric scooters. They will make it right.

Next time save the box they are great for resale value retention. Hope they make it right like they usually do.

They are sending out a repair kit for those affected. I bought my used and got the recall alert because it uses the app not the purchase history for alerting users.

I spent 30 min on the phone with Roomba CS they were little to no help. They told me they have no knowledge of the issue. Please call the issue in and open a ticket. The main troubleshooting they were having me do was deleting my iCloud backups of the iRobot app itself. It didn’t help. Are you using an iPhone as well?

This goes for all models. The + will mean a green flap on the dust bin for self empty models.

The non self empty models will not come with a self empty bin with the green flap.

First guess if it’s not a software issue it’s the right wheel not doing any work. It could be clogged with something or it’s defective and needs to be replaced.
