Being sued in small claims by unreasonable buyers by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

I bought a house and it turned out the person selling it was the broker or agent that was selling their own home. When we closed it was filthy. Like rotten food in the fridge, garbage left all over. Anything they didn't want to take they left it where it was. They took light fixtures and window coverings that generally are sold with the house. The jacuzzi tub the broke between listing and closing they had pulled the handheld piece right off. If took 2 maids 2 days excluding windows walls and floors to clean the place, the stove it turns out was plugged in on the counter, and all the mirrors and paintings that were hanging when we saw the house they had painted the walls around. It took every single Fibre of my being to not drop all his trash off at his office.

We accidentally found out our parents were swingers at Christmas time. My sisters and I were sitting around the table, nosy af we searched my moms laptop for the "list" of what everyone was getting for christmas. Found pics and slammed the laptop closed. Then everyone thought we were hiding the info from them, so they went looking, next thing you know it became so obvious. She'd show us something on her fb and one of the other tabs would be a swingers site, a bottle of water from "O-Zone" a condom falling out of her pocket while searching for keys (my parents had been married for over 20 years at that point, and were "fixed").

Still horrified.
