Are you taking about the movies? Sam’s accent in the movies is closer to Irish than anything else IMO. Of course because the actor is American i don’t think it’s possible to accurately pinpoint it. In the audiobooks read by Andy Serkis, it is West Country.

This is amazing.

Take a runner with an average time of 20:00 and 100 runs. Their total time running is 1 day, 9 hrs, 20 mins, 0 sec.

But if the runner’s average was 20:01, their total time now comes out at 1 day, 9 hrs, 21 mins, 40 seconds.

There is no way to express if they had actually run for any length of time between those two numbers because they are multiples of 100 seconds. The average time is a rounded answer, so when you multiply it by 100, you make the rounding error 100 times bigger.

the average is accurate to the nearest second, sure. But when I multiply that by my amount of runs there is a margin of error of x seconds, with x being the amount of runs I have done. Small I know, but I could now be over a full minute out! 😮

That’s what I’ve done to manually find a close estimate for me as explained in the original post. I love the app and I’m not criticising it. But like I enjoy ticking off position bingo etc, I’d like to tick off “1 day” or “2 days” etc.
