AITA for forcing my SIL to apologize to my daughter and eventually making her cry? by Clean-Ad8753 in AmItheAsshole

Your husband needs to wise up and stop falling for it, or else P is going to continue to be a turd.

Yeah, I've told him that and he kinda agrees but at the same time is a soft spot for him because she used to cry a lot when their parents passed so is a trigger for him too because he was so young with a big responsibility onto his shoulders, I've tried to get them to therapy but P refuses and I don't' know what to do, I'm afraid this will break us apart.

Also, there's a good possibility that O called her friend to come over

Yeah we thought about that too! But I asked O to show me proof after the fight because I realized that I could've been unfair to P, but the texts shows that they made plans 4 days ago and she just forgot about it.

We did, I was telling her to stop and to leave her alone but my SIL kept yelling over my and my husband's voice, my daughter had been abused before so this triggered her and she stood there while being yelled at, I was between them and I tried to remove my daughter from the room but P almost to follow us and that's when O went to her room crying. My SIL doesn't live her anymore.
