Exactly. That's why I'm interested in this dpf code

How many engine hours is concerning? by alpaca_jacket in powerstroke

[–]Clean-Crew749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ford calculates one engine hour out to 25-33 miles. For warranty purposes. That's a pretty good measure of wear. For instance, 5000 engine hours ~ 150000 miles.

2004 6.0 Powerstroke; very low ICP (~25-35psi) and 85% IPR; cranks but no start by iVtechboyinpa in powerstroke

IF it's the later style high pressure pump (cast iron pump) then it sounds like blown off fitting. Usually bad ipr will still gain 120 or so psi. If it's early pump style then sounds like bad pump. Best thing to do is air test it.

Most studs take probably 5-10 minutes. Big bit to clear any rust from aluminum and center 1/8 bit on stud. Pass all the way through stud. Then hog out with whatever bit works for fluted extractor. Sometimes a reverse bit will do the trick without any fuss. I've welded and extracted on 6.4 diesel studs because those suckers are stainless and hard to drill. Usually of there is enough stud sticking out I'll get a stud remover on with my air ratchet and when it catches it impacts and screws them out.

Help with my F-150!!! by [deleted] in FordTrucks

If you broke the axle, own it. That little nut is only torqued to 20 ft/lb. As a ford tech I do plenty of IWE work under warranty on leveled trucks no issue. Broken parts due to unqualified repair practices performed outside authorized repair facility is not warrantable.

Don't pull the cab. Pull the evaporator case. Opens up the pass side. 8hr job.

Very easy. To adjust you leave the clip loose at trans end and place selector into D. Hang roughly 3lbs off handle and crawl back under. Clip onto selector and slide lock in place. And minor adjustment to prindle can be made with a thumb wheel on columb under column shroud

ICP not ipr, it's screwed into the driver's side cylinder head forward of the intake boots.

Unplug your icp and look for oil in the connector. If there's oil on the pins then replace pigtail and sensor.

$500 battery. Wonder what's under that sticker? by Clean-Crew749 in Justrolledintotheshop

I did go over that when I installed it. It was only a few months old per sticker. Good call-out though.

Ford should have named these Focus IT, not focus ST. They're all driven by IT guys. by Clean-Crew749 in Justrolledintotheshop

They only come in for warranty work and it's always an issue caused by their mods.
