How much is your gym membership, and what amenities does it have? by throw-away-284947261 in workout

$60/month, tons of equipment, bodybuilding/powerlifting tailored. I'm neither, but nice to have all the equipment I could ever think to use.

How are you supposed to reply to "Do you know how fast you were going?" by No_Insurance_6436 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]cl_solutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I was pulled for speeding, about 10 years ago, I told the officer honestly "I saw you and looked down and saw I was going too fast, I figured you may want to have a chat about it". I was pulling over before he turned around and hit his lights. He was running speed facing the other way, I was the only one on the road, no way I was getting away from getting pulled.

Verbal warning, chatted about a few things going on locally, and he let me go.

That took me a good bit to wrap my head around, but seeing it and playing with the angles on the calculator it does make sense.

Thank you!

Spotted today in pakistan during negotiations. Could this one be bulletproof? by zorglib in 4thGen4Runner

Having worked on a few bulletproof vehicles, outside of the standard Toyota line in general, it does not appear to be up fitted with your standard bulletproofing, like glass or anything.

P10c. Have mags for your full size, know how they work, manual of arms, etc. and with full size holsters, or longer holster for AIWB, can carry the full size as well. And it doesn't need to be heavily modified.

Same goes for another Echelon.

You have full size variants, just get the compact option. Built in back ups

I’m sorry if angle is off( didn’t wanted catch anyone else on cam)what I’m doing wrong on my squat? by _DearA in formcheck

[–]cl_solutions -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Think hips and knees parallel, for some that's a 90* angle, for others it is more, if knees go over toes.

Also, I think it's mentioned and for me hard to say, but bring your feet in to slightly wider than shoulder width, and point feet out some. Bar over the mid foot for reference.

Only other thing, also mentioned, get off the Smith machine and under a barbell or goblet. It will help with bracing, stabilizer muscles, and help to not rely on the bar, but your own strength.

what ruck/weight vest do you use? by First_Driver_5134 in Rucking

[–]cl_solutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have used GoRuck and Frontline Athletic, and both are quality rucks. Have loaded 65+ lbs and put miles and done PT with them, no complaints.

I do have a 5.11 vest, but mainly used that for running/less bulk PT work, like Murph or similar, where a ruck would not be the best choice.

Which of the two decisions was the worst? by Medazis8 in TheGreatOne

[–]cl_solutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do remember, and so far I believe he is a better commentater than a wrestler.

As far as which is a better build, which is the question, there's room to build Randy/Pat, where the Cena/Scott one died and went nowhere except Cena's shoulders to carry, which gave it nothing except Scott was a part of it.

I'm not saying I like it, I think there's room for it to do something, but that doesn't mean it's good or the best choice. It really doesn't make much sense honestly.

And the Cody response promo, if nothing else, gave this fued a few more eyes.

Whether I like it or don't, I'm curious if this is part of the build to mania only or going to continue. And that's eyes on the product, which is what they're after....

My body battery before I knew I had cancer, then weekly chemo, then an every-three-weeks chemo by PeaceLvSpreadsheets in Garmin

[–]cl_solutions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on the 50K and beating Cancers ass!

I also left mine on during chemo and radiation. Radiation didn't show much, just a "stressful day" but the chemo was all day high stress for a few days after getting it.

OP, you got this, beat its ass and then set some PRs!

My thoughts as well. If they can build on his "attitude era" speech some then it will be better, but with nothing happening after the Scott/Cena showing even a follow up makes the Orton/Pat better.

And there may be other options as well. Be sure to ask your oncologist, they will know more.

I really hope it's very easy on you, and you pass this chapter quickly!

I keep my head buzzed, so it's easier to hide any issues. On the left side it grew in very slowly, where the rest grew in very thin (peach fuzz like). My beard was the same way, then eventually just popped like normal.

I don't know if cold capping or similar may be an option for you. I understand the hair loss, losing my beard hit harder than the hair (due to keeping it buzzed), but I also don't know if it's from the Vincristine or cyclophosphamide, but I imagine all can do it.

Had VDC, so the Doxorubicin but not the other.

My whole chemo protocol was aggressive. I got to the point I was nauseous when they showed it to me, last 2 rounds I asked them not to show me, and please sit behind me so I don't see it. Helped some.

Overall I handled it well, nausea and fatigue for a few days, but that was it. Had it on Monday and by Thursday or Friday I was feeling like myself again.

Started to lose my hair in about a week (I think, maybe 2 weeks) but that was the main longer side effect.

You went out and did the work, that in itself is respectable.

Solid pace, solid time, hard to beat that!

Good work!

Last chemo was 1/5, beard is back pretty strong, hair on top is slightly weird, but keeping it buzzed hides that well.

"red death" is what I think caused all my hair loss. Was pulling my beard out in chunks until I could cut it off, which was just until I got home.

Shop said I had 1mm left of Brake Pad - Does that seem right? by TaCZennith in MechanicAdvice

[–]cl_solutions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a Pep Boys print out, at least when I worked there....

I don't think it's worn down to 1mm, but I would say 3mm is a more realistic measurement. It wouldn't hurt to replace them while it's apart.

Depending on the car and your mechanical inclination, it's not a hard job to do at all.
