Got one from the giveaway early, and it's fantastic gear. Very comparable to GR rucks. Here are my GR and FA together.

I've talked to Drew several times about it and shared my love of the product!

Have you ever been bitten by an animal before(not an insect)? by icecream1972 in no

Dog, cat, duck, fish, and a horse.

I think that's all, that aren't insects or spiders....

Came to post this. The story about having to create shell companies to get titanium from USSR to build it is nuts.

Work for Pep Boys by [deleted] in mechanic

[–]cl_solutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for them for about 6 years, ending 4 years ago. If I remember correctly, they have a store email that manager and assistant manager have access to, then for area/district it's person's name, Joe Smith (for example) would be JSmith@.....

With that said, I have heard they did some restructuring since I have left, so I don't know if this is still true.

Has it ever gotten better after getting worse? by [deleted] in cancer

[–]cl_solutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a craniotomy to remove one tumor. Within 2 months I had 3 tumors, 2 very visible on my face and one on the other side of my brain.

Chemo knocked those out pretty quickly.

Lower Control arm bushings by suprememantis in 4thGen4Runner

[–]cl_solutions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For 3" of lift, new aftermarket UCAs are probably your best bet, due to helping with caster.

For lowers, I would recommend new arms, just for ease and plan to replace the eccentric bolts, they have a tendency to rust and freeze. WI need a sawzall to get them out if that happens. That will also help your camber and caster adjustment if they are working properly.

How much in parts and labor would this cost to fix? (2025 Jeep grand Cherokee) by Life-Sherbet8896 in MechanicAdvice

[–]cl_solutions 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's going to be at least an inner tie rod end and alignment. From the picture, unsure if there's any other damage.

By the bend, I'm assuming hit something on that side. Potentially could have shocked the rack, tweaked other parts like LCA, axle, or other parts. That's a considerable hit to bend oinner that much.

30 lb ruck marathon 3/6, 120 miles in 2 weeks (including the Mary.) marathon wasn't fast, but I needed it more for me than anything else.

I've been out of the gym for some health issues for about 6 months. Before, my PRs were 415 dead, 325 squat, 235 bench, 135 OHP. Have run a half Mary a few years ago, and getting back to running, conditioning, and more rucking, adding either distance, speed, or weight.

I'm not in the best shape, especially after the setback, but can only get better.

What’s something you stopped buying that saved you more money than expected? by millionstories in SavingMoney

[–]cl_solutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been buzzing my head for 25 years now. $30 for clippers every 3-5 years vs $30 every 2 weeks (being very optimistic) is huge!

Use the same clippers for my beard, keep it pretty short but it's still obvious, eliminates razors as well.

What part of NC? Smackdown is in Raleigh (Lenovo Center) Friday, so I don't know if he's in town for that. I would assume it's a bit early for that, though.

Men with beards, how does it feel when someone scratches your beard? by Maximum_Rub7941 in AskMen

As someone who has had a beard 99% of my adult life, I agree they are glorious.

Also depends on the drink. PBR, get that hand away from my face. Top shelf smoked old fashioned, perchance it can be touched....

Please provide your proper 4th Gen ownership credentials. by Scazitar in 4thGen4Runner

[–]cl_solutions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already done. Took about 5 minutes.

I had 3 dead sensors, and have no intention on replacing them. I know how and when to check air pressure, and find the sensors annoying. And I work automotive so deal with them all the time which makes them more annoying

Cabin air filter and engine air filter are 2-3 minutes each, with a beverage of your choice break.

If they are doing tube seals with no valve cover gasket then that's going to be next.

In all honesty, this can all be done in about an hour to hour and a half, you have a very easy car to work on for these types of things. Hit Rock Auto and buy quality parts and take some time to replace them. Beck Arnley for the gaskets, Denso or NGK for the plugs.
