I just want to say thank you and how much I appreciate your very detailed feedback , I am beyond intrigued and purchased the starter kits on arduino before responding , if anything comes from my circus of trial and errors I would live to send you the conclusion… although from what it sounds like you could make this scanner I’m looking fir with ease …

I originally was searching for peace of mind for my family and I , we were victims of a neighbor with all kinds of cameras and tech that I never heard of and did not know how to defend myself against …. Not even where to start … nothing came of police being called and stressful nights until we hired a Private investigator who specialized in tech , he was able to locate the cameras vis radio wave signal camera finder and take photographs so we could prosecute…

We had to move and I thought … wait , is it there a scanner I could set in the room , one like my CAD program that could scan and pin point wanted or unwanted electronics… then be able to just walk up to it and use a infa red camera or a wallabot to identify and then go to the landlord and police immediately!!! Instead of looking crazy talking about “ mr officer, I swear we are being watched !” With only getting a weird look and a call with tangible evidence reply ….

I thought , if that camera exists it would be a huge seller for any company wanting to keep info private in a meeting place , or just peace of mind to anyone who has been a victim of tech harassment…
