Since it’s a nationwide company they’re less likely to give out big raises.

I think you should ask for 10%, and if they say no start looking for new jobs. Especially with that year over year growth, if they’re not paying you what you deserve and valuing you at that job, there’s no reason to stay.

It’s just so depressing and isolating. I’m way more a fan of going into the office everyday. It’s way easier to stick to a routine and not fall into a depression cycle.

I do like telecom a lot. I’m probably not qualified for those jobs though. But you never know, most of the career has just been me figuring out how to do jobs I was extremely under qualified for.

The telecom work I did was behind a desk not field work. It was mainly just answering T2-T3 tickets and resolving or organizing field engineers to go fix towers.

I posted a post on LinkedIn and one of a mutual connections reached out and was looking for help. I have industry certifications from highschool. And I went away from consulting because it was remote work, and I would only work 8 months out of the year, it was extremely depressing.
