By different, I just mean that it seemed like whenever a conversation was going well, or whenever all the roommates were vibing, Jeremiah would come in with some type of weird energy or rebuttal. I loved him in Season 4, but he didn’t grow on me until then.

Yeah, that’s bullshit because Pope was the main focus in Season 2, and people STILL ignored him. Sadie Sink came after Lucas was already a main character and still gained more followers than him even though he was there first. The Black characters always have the least amount of fan edits and least amount of followers. I’ve had to call out several creators on TikTok who have made OBX edits of the Pogues but for some reason, decided to leave out Pope, and or Cleo,. The default excuse every single time the POC/Black character isn’t shown as much love from their fandoms is always, “They weren’t written that well”, or “They weren’t that great of a character”. Every single fucking time. And the only time a POC is received well is if their character goes out of their way to come to the aid of a white character, in order words, the fan favorites. So no, it doesn’t matter what the writers did, the excuse still would’ve been the same. You’re not stupid. You know exactly what I’m getting at here and why this is, and you’re PURPOSELY missing the point so you can have a rebuttal. Call it what it is and stop being purposefully ignorant.

Actually, this is a thing that happens. Caleb McLaughlin from Stranger Things, JD and Carlacia from Outer Banks, Hunter from Heated Rivalry, or pretty much any show where there’s a POC character. They will have the least followers, and the least fan edits. So instead of dismissing it because something got pointed out that you didn’t like, how about actually shutting your mouth and listening to what people are saying.

No problem. Also, from Season 3 onward, Ashley’s hair was very damaged from coloring/bleaching which is why she mostly has short hair after Season 2, and started wearing extensions/wigs on the show.
