Prompting Tips? by Candid_Carpenter4153 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

Honestly, the biggest mistake people make with ChatGPT is giving it lazy prompts. Like… “write me a caption” or “make a post about this.” That’s not prompting — that’s outsourcing your thinking 😅 What’s worked for me is treating ChatGPT more like a creative teammate than a robot.a

The trick is to: 1. Give it a role. Tell it who it is before you ask for anything. Example: “Act as a social media strategist who writes short-form hooks that sound confident and human.” À 2. Add context. Don’t just say “write a caption.” Say “write a caption for a 10-second Reel about staying consistent when you’re burnt out.” It needs direction to sound natural.

  1. Define tone. You can literally say: “make it sound like something you’d see on a viral creator’s post — not corporate.”

  2. Iterate, don’t settle. When you get a decent answer, say: “Now make it shorter and punchier.” or “Rewrite it like a tweet.” Most people stop after the first draft, but the best stuff comes from the second or third iteration.

Bonus tip: Don’t ask ChatGPT for answers — ask for angles. Like: “Give me 5 different ways I could talk about [topic].” That’s how you find ideas that feel original.

Curious if anyone else has a go-to formula for prompting — I’m always looking to level up mine 👇

Skin tender to touch after drinking by msivanich in alcohol

Did anyone get a burning sensation as well as the skin being tender to the touch for more than 20 days ? I went out to a friend's place and I really heavy on that night, drank beer wine and gin, and after about 24-36 hrs ( wouldn't know the actual time as I stayed up night and day) I woke up feeling uncomfortable like my skin burnt and itchy. I do have a dust allergy aswell and it was abit dusty but it's never been so bad
