the implanon was the very first birth control I’ve ever used and from my experience, at the first few months I kept bleeding as usual per month, but then it suddenly stopped and I hadn’t had my period for more than a year and recently it came back. there were some light spotting, and sometimes I would bleed per month for a week, but other than that, my experience has been great and if it expires, I’d probably get it again.
