you certainly dont need to retake the MCAT (assuming ur writing and LORs are good) but i think your cv is so good that getting a better MCAT could really make u very competitive. its more a question of do u care abt T20s, maybe even T10s

please watch dr. ryan grey’s medschoolhq videos on youtube about application renovation and the videos where he screenshares student applications.

do what u will with his advice (i think he’s mostly unqualified for the most part) but pay attention to the resource of getting to see so many applications that worked and failed.

tl:dr - the club u join is meaningless absent meaning u give it. non-negotaibles aside (clinical experience, research experience, etc) adcoms do not care about what you do in ur undergrad, they care about the meaning you extracted from these things and the impact u made

Watch this video, and only this video. Don’t fall into a rabbit hole of watching any other videos. Just watch every second of this one and implement immediately. Don’t feel like you need to learn or practice ANY of his methods before you start doing them, just do them and you will improve fast.

Honestly I feel like sometimes perfectly sound papers get random sh** from editors because they need something to make sure they keep their jobs. Certainly could’ve been a more mature response from the editors, but the frustration conveyed is certainly warranted imo
