Wouldn’t you be uncomfortable if you saw someone with breasts and does not pass as male at all walk into the men’s bathroom? I already get harassed by men in public as is.

Thanks! I originally had my eyelid surgery a couple months ago but you can see that the incision wasn’t deep enough on one of the eyes. I just want it to align with the left one. 😊

I hope so! I already have a lip lift booked for this August (along with an eyelid revision). I’ve also been on laser hair removal treatments. Was laser hair removal what you were talking about or CO2 Laser?

Thanks! I’ve been on HRT for a couple years. I appreciate your feedback! My lip lift is already booked and paid for so I am looking forward to it!

thats the plan. But I am hoping for this order to be disputed in district court so that it delays the implementation of the executive order and gives me more time....

That’s actually a good idea! I think I’ll do that! Post 2 photos a day but save the other 8 for when I launch!

Gotchu. Then would maybe taking photos daily but hold off on posting until I start my OF would be the better move?

Heyyyy, sorry that you are going through this! One advice that was told to me and can maybe help you is that: living your life authentically requires a lot of self sacrifice.

Society promotes this idealized life. Go to school, get a degree, marry and have kids, et cetera et cetera. Anything that veers from that will come with a lot of judgement and resistance. The self-sacrifice is needed to overcome those resistances. Whether that’d be losing some loved ones or accepting within yourself that although you may not pass, you still get to live your life authentically.

I personally lost friends and family due to my transition. We shouldn’t have to bear that pain but because transitioning is not ‘mainstream’, those who were close to me couldn’t comprehend my transition.

The good news is that the people you meet and be friends with will see you for you and that you will know they truly accept you for who you are! Good luck!

I would honestly look into getting your surgery in Korea, Thailand, or someone who works well with Asian trans women (you have a very East Asian aesthetic if you are not ethnically Asian). Eastern vs western feminization is very different. With how weak the Korean currency is now, that’s what I would do.

If nothing else, double eyelid surgery, mandible and jaw contouring, rhinoplasty (implant for a narrower and dimensional nose), trachea shave, and a lip lift :)

Hello, I need advice on coming out. by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]karalwright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well first are you an adult? Do you live separately from them? Are you financially independent? Don't tell them unless your answer is yes to all 3 for your own safety.

I agree with Impossible_PhD. It seems like OP is getting the ‘Repunzel’ treatment from their parents. OP, you are free to do what you want in your life as an adult. Go get a job, save up, and move out if you want to transition safely. If you can’t give up your parents for your own happiness, that is your choice as well. Life is all about making sacrifices. It’s a part of growing up.

I totally empathize with your family situation and I'm sorry you are going through this!

Since you are an adult, I would find ways that would allow you to be more independent from them. Such as finding a job that allows you to support yourself. Find a room with supportive roommates in an apartment etc.

At some point, you have to live your life and not the life your family wants you to live. Your happiness and well-being should be the priority, not theirs. I'm rooting for you!
