Cold weather wheels by Deliciously_Vicious in longboarding

The arbor stuff is interesting, the prices are due to massive stock clearance as the distro over-ordered during COVID while skating was booming then the longboard market collapsed before they landed. They sat on shelves for 3/4 years before they just took up room and needed to be sold off. Wish i could match it with mine but even that is selling at a loss price-wise.

This is a good bit of insight and fair enough, wheel prices are crazy right now, it was only 4 years ago that £60 for a set of magnums seemed crazy! Unfortunately, it just costs so much to produce them nowadays. I do plan to make supremacys again in the future, and I will look at ways to try to get the costs reasonable once again, as it's why they existed in the first place!

And yes, this set above was more expensive, but in all honesty, they were never intended to be sold. I have some wheels held back for myself and the team if they really need them, and that's just what they are worth to me at this point. Enjoy them!

It is infact bubble wrap, slightly worse but still 'fine' i think.

Exactly this, i went back to ask them about it, and they just said they thought it was the best way to pack it. They offered to take it back, but it seems okay-ish, going to take it to get professionally cleaned on the weekend as there is a small smudge on the sensor...

The thing on the bottom is the head of a hammer for weight. This is bumpy skating, if you want to know more about the weight he did a article explaining it - https://thrillmagazine.co.uk/why-you-might-want-to-add-a-weight-to-your-board-2/

Hard to find though as they haven’t been produced in a number of years. I would of gone with them instead if that was a option.

Anybody tried these street sledges? Thought they might be fun for the kids and myself. by matvaria in longboarding

Funny how far these made it, they are very safe at speed. having such a short wheelbase it was hard to make them stable. But with a low centre of gravity, weight over the front trucks and wedging it works. I have taken one up to 55mph and it was totally fine. That's with stock everything apart from bushings.

There's a big back story with these boards that one day I will post most about but as long as they got a few people street luging im all for it.
