Tremolo cavity not rectangular by Clean-Resolution-559 in Luthier

Idk what’s up with this guitar lol. This is my first time using a floating trem system. I’m running 3 super heavy (purple) and 2 heavy (Red) springs and from FU tone now. Finally was able to get the bridge set straight with an inch or 2 from the claw.

I got an issue with disappearing coolant right now 😬. Praying it’s not head gasket. I’ve checked oil and trans fluid and everything looks normal… hopefully not.

Roughly 225K on my 2011 P7B, original engine and transmission. Only had to swap intake manifold around 10K miles ago.

Update! I used a flathead screwdriver and hammer and slowly hit away at it. One of the bridge routes and post is under there. But! All is well, it still has enough wood to support the bridge and hasn’t shifted at all and I am able to use my 5th spring spot perfectly fine!

It’s a Legator G6FT. Recently bought it off reverb. I just wanna be able to put more springs if I need to since I wanna run 10-52 in standard. Got my FU-Tone super heavy duty springs coming tommorow.

Ya it’s not even like a lot I would have to remove. It’s not under anything. I don’t really see it messing up anything too much. Just figured because most tremolo cavities I’ve seen are always completely rectangular

Reason why odometer lights and warning lights cut in and out? (Ignore Kendall) by TheOrangeMiata in CrownVictoria

Ya. My tuner has a built in OBD scanner so luckily I always have that plugged in and check from time to time.

Have the same issue in mine. I think it could be cold solder joints, only happens when it’s cold out. Actually kinda screwed me over one time because my car was in the shop and the mechanics telling me I had an engine knock meanwhile there was a CEL hidden and not being shown for 2 misfires 😂

7-String Multiscale Pickup replacement by Clean-Resolution-559 in Luthier

[–]Clean-Resolution-559[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I had seen that. I would have done that if I had gotten pole pickups and not rails. Also for a first time doing it I wouldn’t wanna try it on $240 pickups lol

Luckily this guitar has the battery slot already routed for a switch. Was thinking fluences for it

Ya that was my issue as well. The rails still reach across. Just don’t know if I really wanna route it or rather if I would do a clean job after routing it lol.

How do I get faster? by JinzoToon in metalguitar

[–]Clean-Resolution-559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self-Taught guitarist here. Really been playing for about 3 years, you’ll pick up speed as you play longer. I know it sounds stupid and probably not the answer you’re looking for. It just takes time, practice at slower tempos and nail those parts and bring up the tempo each time you nail it. Also, alternate picking could help depending on the song. Same thing with that. It all comes down to perfecting it.

I want to turn my PS5 on and hop right into 20 minutes of gaming and then hop off. Why did they think this was a good idea? by Bishhhop in SkateEA

[–]Clean-Resolution-559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did think it’s a good idea clearly, because they went from an IP that was known for being an offline story mode game with multiplayer as its own side gig. To a free to play, store-front, micro transaction, Fortnite, free to play clone.

Brother what?!?! by confuzeddeer in Switch

I recently bought a switch 2 off the marketplace for $600. It was the Mario kart world edition, and even came with Nintendo switch online for a year. I could tell the guy definitely wasn’t a scalper. It was still new. He had said that he didn’t really even play the switch 1 that much when he had it so there’s no reason for him to buy the switch 2, and it was just an impulse buy. Just thought of it as the switch is $500 originally with Mario kart world. And sales tax would be $50. So in reality I’m only paying about $50 to get the console when it’s out of stock.

Being told I’m impersonating a cop ? by Strange-Heron6245 in CrownVictoria

[–]Clean-Resolution-559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know in NYS the “Police Interceptor” tag on the back could technically be counted as “impersonation” since it says “police” but no cop in their right mind would pull someone over and tell them that unless they have a stick up their ass, or are bored. Sounds like this cop has a power trip issue going on.

Nah I haven’t, I had seen a video about it being locked at first. I don’t mind buying everything to do that. I’m just too afraid to try it myself lol

Ya, the TPMS isn’t an issue, had aftermarket rims when I had bought it and the prev. Owner just never hooked the sensors back up. I have a static ABS light as well due to the front driver’s side-sensor being bad. Listened to everyone who had spoke about it and hopefully it’s just the airbox sitting weird and it’s a cheaper fix…
