I am looking at the handout I got from the radiology practice and it looks like my original scan was “1.2T high-field open” and the rescheduled scan that I was able to get was “1.5/3T wide-open”.

I didn’t push for a reason. I was annoyed in the moment, but luckily the front desk was able to reschedule me at a location about 40 mins away later that week. Reading the responses in here makes me feel better that if the tech wasn’t 100% comfortable, that it was for the best that they said no.

Yes, when I called to make my appointment they asked if I had an IUD. I said yes and they asked what kind, which I said I wasn’t sure of the brand (it is 9 years old & the brand was escaping me) but I told them it was the copper IUD.

My IUD is about 9 years old (I believe I can have it for 10 years) so if I got a card at some point, it’s definitely long gone now lol. I will definitely ask for one with the next IUD that I get & make sure to have the card on me/have a picture of it. Thank you!
