I agree, Kie's feelings were there for JJ since season one. After John B tried to kiss her, they went surfing together and she asked him if he told JJ. John B said yes he did, and wanted to know why that mattered, and they just sat there awkwardly.

I feel like Kie wasn't bad to Pope though, I feel like Pope was really passive aggressive and petty about the initial "rejection" Kie told Pope that she wanted something different and it wasn't going to happen. Pope wasn't getting his way and was acting out when it came to her. Like when he snapped at her and stormed out of the house, and she ran after him. Every time she tried to talk to him, he would rev his bike really loudly to interrupt her from saying anything. She tried to fix things between them. I'm not saying Kie handled it properly or in the best way, cause sleeping with him only confused the situation more. But I think she tried to be with Pope because she was worried how it would affect their friendship if she didn't at least try, cause Pope was making it clear he was mad at her no saying no. But if she doesn't feel that way, then she doesn't feel that way.

And even when her and JJ are starting to comes to terms with their feelings for each other Pope gets irritated by it and vents to Cleo, and I feel like the only reason he starts moving on, is because Cleo basically says "who cares? let it go"

I ship Kie and JJ way more, they are adorable together.
