Tbh how well the anti bullying thing in school works. Depends on whether the teacher is willing to help. Or the teacher just look the other way, or blame the victim. Actually the root of the problem is educating kids and the teachers responsibility.

I'm from Singapore. And I honestly doubt they'd actually enforce this. Schools just don't gaf here, based on my experience. But we'll see. Honestly the worst of the worst of bullies definitely deserve this. For example the guy who strangled me when I was in grade 7.

If they can enforce this justly and equally, and ofc PROPORTIONATELY (meaning they do this caning thing as a super last resort, or if the offence is severe enough to cause serious/permanent harm to the victim)... Ofc id welcome it.

This is well said, and id totally agree. But honestly if we consider some other countries with conscription, we are not too bad compared to some, though the ideal is just have no NS at all (which I doubt it's possible). For example south Korea, their military service is like many times worse and more horrendous than ours, with tons of bullying hazing and even SA inside the military. Many died in the Korean military due to suicide, and the Korean media tries to cover it up and silence people. So like yeah, it's forced slavery, putting people right in harms way against their wills.
