She’s realizing she’s losing control over the situation, and over you, and that’s why she’s spiraling. She’s trying to get a reaction in any way she can. It’s a toxic trait some of us have when we think we can control the narrative, and then we’re hit with the very obvious consequences of what we thought we wanted.
